OUR BEST: MR4 H4 FELICIA($4.20) Took the step up in grade last start really well winning impressively. She has good gate speed so barrier 11 wont be an issue. She can lead but if something takes her on she can take a sit and box seat in behind the speed. Loves the track and distance and has won on soft before. Huge chance and she is our best ! 

FELICIA($3.40); 2ND beaten (0.75L), great ride by Craig Williams, just behind the leader hit front in straight every possible.

BR9 H6 ZIEMBA($4.60) Been racing  well 2 runs from a break. Has won third up. Loves the track and distance. From barrier 1 will sit a little closer in running. She will be steaming home with Fisticuffs but we think she will have the edge and get up. Huge chance. 

ZIEMBA($5); 3RD/$2.20 place beaten (1.25L); missed the kick slightly settled midfield ran home well.

SR9 H6 MR MOSAIC($6.50) Racing so well this prep. Did a bit of work early last start just couldn’t hold only beaten half a length. Doesn’t have to deal with a lot of speed in this race so should get a across easier and dictate the pace here. If this happens he will be super hard to run down and loves the 1000m ! Great chance. 

MR. MOSAIC($4); 6th beaten (1.5L), jumped on terms with the winner but restrained too quickly probably could have pushed forward, ran okay .

MR5 H4 ORDER OF COMMAND($8.50) Huge run last start when 3 deep with 62kgs and still ran third. Second up today and has a more favourable draw here from barrier 2. Drops 3.5kgs from last run. Loves the track and distance and adept in all conditions. Huge chance at a ridiculous odds. 

ORDER OF COMMAND($11); last beaten (3.5L), behind leaders did absolutely nothing in the straight.

BEST EACHWAY:MR9 H2 CASCADIAN($11) We have had him as best bet a couple of times with absolutely no luck what so ever. Today we can see him sitting way closer in running to give him every chance from barrier 6. This is his chance to break through with a group 1 victory. His three runs at the track have all been extremely unlucky. Loves the distance and adept in all conditions. Huge chance. 

CASCADIAN($6.50); 8th beaten (4L), settled in second half of the field, made a run around the outside but struggled to the line. He is a horse that definitely races best fresh. 

SUMMARY; After a massive 7 weeks of having winners in Our Best we have had a few weeks with placings. Hoping this week we can get a few home for the win! Huge days racing today so lets dive in and have a look at a few. The Thousand Guineas is a cracking Fillies race. And Personal($18) has to be a huge chance on its last run in the prelude when she battled on really well up the straight. The 1600m looks ideal giving her enough time to wind up. She has always looked the type to stretch out over ground. Hungry Heart($3.30) is a great chance. As well as Instant Celebrity($3.80) and I would think that Ecumenical($34) has to be a chance at massive odds. She sat 4 deep throughout in the prelude and only finish 1.5 lengths of the winner. Third up today out the 1600m and John Allen aboard is a bonus ! Vangelic($11) also has to be thrown into the mix with her run in the Flight Stakes last week. Caulfield Guineas and we think Kings Legacy($7.50) is a huge chance. Ran a great 3rd in the Golden Rose. Third up today and out to the 1600m which is ideal. I can see a run just a touch worse than midfield peeling out and steaming home over the top of them. Is a multiple Group 1 winner. Ole kirk ($3.80) has his chance today along with Tagoloa ($5.50) who will love the 1600m. Crosshaven ($12) and Amish boy($21) at good prices have been in great form as well. Alligator Blood is down in Sydney for the Golden Eagle. He races today in the Silver Eagle and we think he should be winning against this field. His run first up was full of merit when carrying 61kgs and last on the turn over 1100m. A bit of pace in this small field should suit him and will be sitting closer to the speed. The whips will be cracking. The Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes is a cracker. We think Montefilia and Bucharest have the best chances in the race. Montefilia($3.30) couldn’t have been more impressive last week winning the Flight Stakes. Was last and the widest runner in the straight and still had to do a lot of work at 200m to get there. The step out to the 2000m is ideal. Bucharest($15) didn’t have the best of luck last start in The Gloaming and steamed home when she finally got out. The step out to the 2000m is ideal. Cherry Tortini($6) and Love Tap($3.50) have there chances aswell.  I would just like to mention Shout the Bar($11) in the Angst Stakes. Great run last start when only beaten 2.5lengths after getting to the front and doing a bit of work to get there. All her best runs and wins have come over 1600m and further. So the step up to the 1600m is ideal. Just some food form thought.  The Spring Carnival is in top flight now and the Melbourne Cup is fast approaching. Anthony Van Dyk had a track gallop the other day he looks a class act and he will be cherry ripe for the Melbourne Cup. On that exciting note. Have a cracking day on the punt and good luck.
