SR8 H1 BON AMIS ($5); he will roll forward from his gate(8) a little tricky but his jockey Samantha Clenton (riding in superb form) should get him up behind the speed. He is a quality galloper with great second up stats and is in quite nicely with 59kegs. He will be primed to pounce at the distance and $5 is extremely generous. HE IS OUR BEST!!!
BON AMIS($5.50); 8th beaten 4L, leader was given race on a platter, 30.10secs for the first 500m then home in 34.10 the last 600m a jog trot for this class of sprinter(could have sat outside leader I.M.O) thought it was an average ride at best.
BR5 H6 LIFESAVER ($6.50); good second last start to the extra smart Tambo’s Mate and with 57.5kgs and gate (5) should get a prime run. He is quite consistent and is certainly a major player here. We just might get slightly better odds.
LIFESAVER($9.50); 11th beaten 5.8L, midfield 3 wide no cover stayed there did nothing. Maybe he is just a fresh horse.
MR8 H1 GUNDOWN($12); gate 2 57kegs after the claim from his in form apprentice Thomas Stockdale he should be right on the leaders hammer swinging for home. Handles all conditions and this is levels below his last start and we think the Valley will suit perfectly NICE ODDS.
GUNDOWN($31); 9th beaten 11.7L; blew like a gale in the betting and ran accordingly, out the back from the start and never improved.
I’m A Rippa($10); from gate 3 should pounce straight to the lead he excels second up and meets his stablemate Outback Barbie 2kgs better. He is a classy galloper that loves Doomben and if he is a couple in front at the distance it just might be game set and match.
I’m A Rippa($4.80); 6th beaten 0.8L, he tried his heart out straight to the front and swamped last 5om, no excuses.
An outstanding day last week on HORSEBUCK$ 4 selections in OUR BEST for 2 winners($11, $9.50) and 2 photo finish seconds($8.50, $18) and a plethora of exotics so it was a long night CHEERS!! We do rate ourselves highly and as we have said before VALUE and consistency are our key motivaters here at Horsebuck$ and we certainly deliver on both counts. We have tipped a couple on our free facebook page the last 2 weeks in Southern France($3.50) and Kiwia($18) so lets see if we can make it a hat trick today. Rosehill race 7 and Cellarman ($18) is an outstanding price considering his last start win. This horse does absolutely nothing in his first 2 runs in a prep then excels the rest of his campaign. Track ,distance any conditions and 18 bucks that will do us, Moss Trip will run well as will Ranier. POST RACE SUMMARY: A blowout in Our Best this week but Facebook followers followed on from the last 2 weeks with Cellarman running a good 3rd at $7 a place and Ranier($6) successful our 3rd selection. Nineteen winners in our top 4 selections(6 on top) for multi runner players with Never Again/$17, Run Like A Rebel/$9.80, Invictus Salute/$9, Deadly Choices/$8.10 the best. Exotics First4 x1, Trifecta x2 and Quinella/Exacta x 11 so some nice results there. We were disappointed in Our Best this week in particular Bon Amis($5.50) thought he could have been ridden a little differently considering the time they ran. We will be following up on him BIG TIME. So there is always something positive to come out of most meetings and Saturday was no exception.
