MR5 H2 CRYSTAL DREAMER($5.50); jumped awkwardly last start got too far back ran on okay when clear, we expect him to be much closer today. Loves this course anywhere near them at the distance it should be game set and match. He is OUR BEST
CRYSTAL DREAMER($5.50); 5th beaten 2.5L, had a glorious run behind the leader got the rails run at the distance didn’t go on most disappointing.
BR8 H10 ZOFONIC DANCER($7.50); didn’t come up last prep and has gradually crept back into form this time in culminating in a good win last start. He can hold his form so a repeat performance is on the cards. He certainly has some great stats at this course which enhances his prospects even further, ready to pounce at the distance. GIDDYUP!!!
ZOFONIC DANCER($17); 6th beaten 3.6L, led early?? then back in 4th place coming again at the finish hung up a bit near the 50m. Blew like a gale in the betting.
MR9 H5 PLATINUM ANGEL($6.50); we were initially disappointed with her run last start but on reflection it was her 3rd run in (not her best) with 59kgs, she was a mile back which is usual for her and ran on okay. She will get back again today but with a huge weight drop(4kgs) it should allow her to finish hard. This is not a strong “GROUP 3” mares race. Just might be a touch overs here.
PLATINUM ANGEL($6.50); 8th beaten 2L, got back was looming large at the distance only plugged home though, no excuses.
Should be an interesting day’s racing from the Sunny Coast to the Coalfields to Sandown where all the out of formers get a chance to win one especially in the Zipping Classic Southern France($3.70) might just be too good here. At the Sunny Coast Tarzan($3.70) should get the prize here, he has a huge weight turnaround(3kgs) on Meet Mr. Taylor($3.10) for nabbing him right on the post last start and he goes even better at this course. Newcastle the million dollar Hunter and Renewal($10) will be steaming home here, forget his run last start down the straight at Flemington much better suited here. He likes the track and distance but his biggest assets here are his 53kgs and Tommy Berry who is riding in great form. Another down in the weights that races extremely well fresh is Bon Amis($9) has an excellent record and is well up to this class and Le Romain($10) if he gets a good run from his gate(15) is always a chance.
