BR2 STANLEY PARK . This horse is in terrific form. Drawn barrier 6. This horse loves to lead and he will suit gold coast track perfectly !. Loves the distance and he will take some beating!. Great Chance !.
Stanley Park($5 – $6); 3rd beaten 0.8L($2.10 PLACE), beautiful ride from Michael Walker had him primed to pounce at the distance 57.5kgs just a little too much. Ran very well though.
BR9 HUSSON EAGLE. Ran well in the Christmas Stakes last start when beaten 1,25 by a group 1 winning filly Alizee. Loves the gold coast and loves the distanceand third up is her go !. From barrier 6 she will get a beaut run and will be steaming home late after the pace being fierce up front !.
Husson Eagle($11 – $11); 10th beaten 3.3L, wide the entire trip and lost a plate in running and battled on ok. One more for this gelding.
SR9 H6 DALMATIA PRINCE($34); Ran well last start only beaten 0.8 lengths from winner. Loves third up. He doesn’t do anything first and second up. Distance suits. He Drops 3kgs from his last run. Meets the winner last start a 5.5kgs better at the weights. Handles all Conditions. A huge Chance !.
Dalmatia Prince($34 – $ $31); 7th beaten 3.5L, ran great considering the torrid run he had 3 wide no cover entire trip but to his credit finished the race off nicely in the center of the track. One more run for sure (wet would be better)
MR7 H10 SIR DONALD($31);Ran well first up over the 1000m. Held up and doing best work late. Second up record is great 5 starts for 2 wins and 2 placings. Loves the 1100m 3 goes for 1 win and 2 placings. Drops 2kg from 56kg to 54kg. Barrier 2 helps and can sit closer and hopefully not get held up in the staright. Good track. Great Chance here !.
Sir Donald($31 – $41); 9th beaten 4.7L, every chance in this made a quick dash at them but died on his run maybe next start in a lesser class.
Brisbane Track Good, Sydney Track Soft and Melbourne Track Good; Magic Millions day at the Goldie with the 2year olds the main event with a crackerjack field. Exhilarates gave them windburn last week and was impressive, also the run of The Odyssey was good he was on the pace from the get go and momentarily hit the front in the straight but just didn’t quicken like the other horse and in our opinion think the 1200m will suit him better. From gate 2 he will be on the speed again he might just give them something to catch at the distance he is big odds. Unite And Conquer has drawn wide but will come in with scratchings he is a serious racehorse and would be a lot shorter in the market and our on top selection if he had drawn in. Anyway it is going to be a cracker and they will run some time here. The 3year old running is not as classy and I personally think Bondi can win drawn wide but will come in quite a bit with scratchings, he is Group one placed as a 2 year old and has the speed to come across and get into a good trail, my colleague on the other hand thinks the local horse Light Up The Room can get the job done no knock there as he is a very good horse and did well last start behind Boomsara after some interference on the home turn. A great days racing there with all races attracting big fields hence we have nominated 5 horses in every leg of the quaddie. Lots of benchmark racing down south with some real tricky affairs but we think we have found one in Sydney at big odds that we think is way overs and will be extremely disappointed if he doesn’t figure. Emphasis ran third for us last week($5 place) and The Odyssey also third ($2.80 place) so no winners but a couple of nice place divis. 18 winners in our top four selections(multi runner players) and also plenty of quinellas and a couple of trifectas, to check out all results from last week and all previous weeks jump on our web site www.horsebucks.com.au they are there for all to see.
