MR1 H3 Good ‘n’ Fast($12); he loves the big straight at Flemington where he can let down. Good run in the Guineas behind The Autumn Sun, he does get back in his races but as long as he can get a decent run from gate(10) he will be steaming home over the top of them.
Good ‘n’ Fast($8.50); 8th beaten 6L over raced and wide loomed at the distance but wilted (understandably)
MR8 H1 Hartnell($6.50); how good is this star going, carries W.F.A. here and meets Land Of Plenty 2.5kgs better. Some of the forums say that Land Of Plenty is the obvious choice here REALLY!!! Maybe a better price will be on offer then. GIDDYUP!!
Hartnell($7.50); 10th beaten 3.2L perfectly ridden every chance.
MR9 H6($6); bolted in last start in Sydney(soft track) but she is adept to all types of conditions. She is super consistent and improving all the time, she can race anywhere in the field and the distance is ideal this is a strong race but we expect her to get the job done.
Resin($4.20); 10th beaten 6L strung up behind hoping she backs up on Tuesday.
BR8 H10 Adoradancer($7); this mare goes well fresh and she tends to drift back off the pace but has a solid finish. Ticking over quite nicely in her trials to have her ready here.
Adoradancer($7); 8th beaten 2L ran very well running home nicely next time?
SR8 H4 Maximus($8); we are forgiving this horse his last run on a soft track not his preferred surface, this is not an easy BM88 but he is very fit, distance perfect and he should enjoy a good run just behind the speed from gate(2)
Maximus($5); 7th and last beaten 6.4L did nothing

Doomben Track Good; Rosehill Track Good; Flemington Track Good; What a great field the Coolmore is Sunlight($5) didn’t see daylight in the Manikato(G1) she will lob right on the speed here or even lead if they let her do so I don’t think they will catch her. Thinkin’ Big has been our Derby horse all the way through well documented on previous posts and nothing has changed but there just might be a little “smokey” in Visao whereas we don’t think he can really beat the favourite he could definitely be a serious place chance. The best fields I have seen on Derby day for at least 30 years an absolute cracking days racing. We will be assessing the fields for Flemington on Tuesday and sending through our Cup horses and any others for the day by email on Monday night.
