Doomben Track Heavy; Randwick Track Soft; Caulfield Track Good; Our Best; Doomben race 4 Valfierno($5.50), this horse has only had a few starts but has shown he loves a wet surface, he will race forward from his wide gate(15 ),same distance and R.Fraad is on again why break a winning combo, just might space them. Doomben race 9 Rock Mylady($16), finally a track to suit this horse, he is a wet tracker and the distance suits. We documented him at his last start at the Coast when we thought the track was going to be soft, by the time his race came around it had gone from a soft5 to a good3, way too hard for this horse, expect a massive improvement today. Caulfield race6 Tashbeeh($15), we tagged this horse at his last run when he had no luck at all in the straight, and thought if he gets into the right race (group three or listed) and on a good track he would be a good play, today is the day GIDDYUP! Caulfield race 8 Jon Snow($12), a very good stayer that relishes this distance, the thing we like about this particular horse is that he loves to be right on the speed and can do it at both ends. He has exceptional wet track form, but to think of him as just that would be foolish. His form has continued on from the Autumn where he won the Australian Derby, as we have said this fellow is high class and with 54.5kgs he will be there when the whips are cracking. Today we have a long shot (first time for awhile) Randwick race 8 Multitude($31) this horse has a very good first up record, 3 starts at the track and distance for zilch? well they have all been second up so we are thinking Gai has this horse ready to win over the 1600m first up, we think he is worth something each way to find out.
